Expected results

1. Council of Europe Manual for Relating Language Examinations to the CEFR and related tools and documents disseminated;
2. Training materials developed, aimed at CEFR-related classroom assessment; 
3. Teacher trainers trained in making teachers aware of the necessity of applying adequate procedures to relate classroom assessment to the CEFR;
4. Feedback from the workshop analysed and conclusions drawn for future development;
5. a guide to the Manual;
6. Web-based documentation;
7. Final report.

1. Council of Europe Manual for Relating Language Examinations to the CEFR and related tools and documents disseminated;
2. Training material for each of the four stages of the linking process - (1) Familiarisation with the Descriptive Scheme and the Common Reference Level system of the CEFR; (2) Specification of the examination content in categories of the CEFR; (3) Standardisation of the interpretation of the Common Reference Levels, using illustrative test items and samples of performances already calibrated to the CEFR; (4) Empirical Validation of the relationship to the levels of the CEFR - developed and disseminated;
3. First group of testers responsible for the development of national language tests trained in applying adequate procedures and using tools to relate examinations to the CEFR;
4. Feedback from the workshop analysed and conclusions drawn for future development;
5. Web-based documentation;
6. Final report.
